Privacy policy

Oink here — the pig on the Pigsticker logo. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to your images and personal details when you use the sticker tool or order printed stickers.

Digital stickers (the free tool)

When you upload a photo to make a digital sticker, the image is processed to remove the background and build your PNG. Free digital processing keeps images in memory for the job — we do not build a long-term gallery of everything people upload, and a digital export does not require an account.

Each exported sticker carries an imperceptible watermark used to tell it was made with Pigsticker. It is not a visible logo and does not affect how your art looks.

Printed stickers (opt-in order)

Physical print orders are opt-in. Only when you confirm the consent checkboxes during checkout do we store:

• your sticker artwork, long enough to print and ship the order
• your shipping details (name, address, email) to deliver the order and contact you about it

Payment card details are never stored by Pigsticker — checkout is handled by our payment provider.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. It lets you save your name, phone number, and shipping address so ordering printed stickers is faster next time.

Almost everything you save to your account is encrypted at rest using a key held only on our servers. That means even a break-in at the database layer would not reveal your name, phone number, or shipping address — they are stored as ciphertext. This is different from most online accounts, which store your details as readable text.

The only personal detail we keep in plaintext is your email address. That is intentional: it is how we identify your account and how we reach you about your orders. Your password is stored only as a salted, one-way hash, and your payment card details are never stored at all.

What we do not collect

• Payment card numbers or full payment data
• A photo gallery of your uploads
• Tracking data beyond optional, privacy-friendly analytics (see below)

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible or similar) only when enabled. No cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.

Where data lives

App services run with our hosting provider. Print fulfillment data is shared only with the print provider needed to make and ship your order.
